Growing agency adds four team members to add capacity and enhance service
NORTH CANTON, Ohio (January 15, 2019) — The Karcher Group announces the hire of four new team members: Designer Jen Barnby, Content/Social Media Specialist Ashley Ikeler, Digital Marketing/Content Specialist Rachel Whinnery and Marketing Specialist Kevin Zeise.
The Karcher Group (TKG), a digital agency with over 20 years of experience in Northeast Ohio, is expanding its marketing team in 2019 to meet the growing needs of its clients.
“We are excited to continuously expand our team with new talent,” said Geoff Karcher, Owner and President of The Karcher Group. “Each of these individuals brings an array of skills and knowledge that we look forward to utilizing.”
Barnby has worked with multiple agencies, helping them grow their digital presence with design. She joins TKG’s expanded Creative team to provide a fresh perspective on design for our clients.
“Design is an outlet for me – a place for expression, a place for emotion and even a place for risk,” Barnby said. “I’m excited to work with TKG clients to see how I can help enhance their design visuals.”
Ikeler comes from the pet industry, where she helped generate consumer awareness for a local manufacturing business. Ikeler will work toward crafting the messaging for TKG through social efforts, blog writing and other forms of content creation.
“I am excited to dive into the agency world and help clients share their brand story with compelling visuals and content,” said Ikeler.
Whinnery previously worked with a variety of Akron-based businesses, such as the International Soap Box Derby and Primal Life Organics. She joins TKG’s client services team to support in the execution of client strategies and reporting results.
“My past jobs helped me find ways to blend the creative with the analytical,” said Whinnery. “The Karcher Group will help me enhance this skill to better serve our clients.”
Zeise brings experience in crafting and executing marketing strategy, in addition to significant event management and media relations knowledge. He joins TKG to aid in the company’s internal marketing efforts.
"Having spent my entire career on the other side of the client-agency relationship, I'm really looking forward to bringing that perspective and applying it to our own marketing efforts," said Zeise.
