Obendorf Brings Senior-Level Sales and Marketing Experience
North Canton, (June 6, 2018) – The Karcher Group, a digital agency, today announced the hire of Kyle Obendorf as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Obendorf headed up the sales and marketing efforts for a Cleveland-based marketing and advertising firm.
Obendorf will build and execute strategies to expand current business at The Karcher Group, helping to position the company for future growth.
“Kyle’s role at The Karcher Group will be twofold,” said Patrick Willoughby, Senior Vice President of The Karcher Group. “He will both set the marketing and sales strategy as well as oversee building and managing our sales team.”
In his search for the right candidate, Willoughby said he looked for an individual with extensive, senior-level experience and a reliable record of outstanding results.
“To continue growing The Karcher Group at the pace we wanted, we needed to find someone who had experience operating at a high-level,” Willoughby said. “Kyle’s proven track record impressed us right off the bat and his familiarity with the South Carolina market solidified our decision”
Obendorf said he looks forward to working with the team to improve process and efficiency. He enjoys group brainstorming and one-on-one sales coaching.
“I’ve been in very similar team leadership roles from coast to coast and when Patrick initially approached me for this position, I was immediately interested in the role. As we talked more, it was TKG’s culture that really resonated with me. I have deep roots in Northern Ohio and am excited to be part of this dynamic and creative team.”
Obendorf graduated from Baldwin Wallace University where he received degrees in both Business Management and Communications.
