Brian
IT Support SpecialistBrian has worked in various environments such as hospitals, schools, and Fortune 500 companies and brings IT knowledge from large enterprise environments that can help TKG’s IT department as it grows larger and takes on more customers.
Brian graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He gained formal skills in networking, security, and desktop support during his time there.
Where he gained his knowledge
Brian has been troubleshooting PCs almost his entire life setting up his home network at the age of 14 in the early 2000’s when broadband Internet first came out so he could play online games without having to suffer the headaches of Dial-Up.
Brian had his first IT internship at Sealed Air (you probably see the name on bubble wrap or other packaging products). After that, he worked as print server admin part time for the local community college during his time at UNC Charlotte, gaining a large amount of printer knowledge. Brian moved into a full-time subcontractor position with IBM at the Cleveland Clinic main campus Heart Center where he gained a majority of his experience.
