Digital Strategy Manager.
About this position
As a Digital Strategy Manager, you will take on the role of client leader, playing a pivotal part in driving client success. DSMs offer consultative client management, provide strategic guidance and oversee the execution and performance of digital marketing strategies. This role requires exceptional client management abilities, strategic decision-making skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients, serving as a strategic consultant and team decision-maker
- Both lead and execute digital strategy projects for new clients that are aligned to their goals, working closely with Creative and Development teams; decide on priority of execution
- Prepare and deliver compelling digital strategy presentations for new clients, effectively communicating proposed strategies and their potential impact
- Direct, lead and oversee ongoing strategy for current clients, utilizing your expertise to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful implementation
- Direct the internal approval process to ensure deliverables match strategy and client expectations
- Identify additional opportunities, working with Account Manager to increase wallet share and consulting on contract renewal and one-time opportunities
- Attend Sync Ups and other pre-sales meetings to provide valuable strategic insights to help close deals
- Lead client meetings that are centered around services, results and strategy
- Oversee ROI and results: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI), making data-driven decisions to optimize strategy and campaigns to achieve the desired outcomes, prepare and present reports on ROI status
- Oversee and determine Heartbeats: Evaluate client ROI and client satisfaction, establishing "heartbeats" to assess the overall health of the client relationship, working closely with the Account Manager and Project Manager for key insights when it comes to the relationship temperature of clients
- Provide task direction for team execution, using project briefs to clearly communicate task requirements and objectives to the execution team and working with project manager to oversee execution
- Stay current with digital marketing trends: Continuously update knowledge and skills as digital marketing trends evolve, integrating new opportunities into client strategies

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of core tactics, including SEO, Digital Advertising, Marketing Automation, Social Media, Content Marketing and Development
- Excellent presentation skills and experience developing presentations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, digital advertising platforms, content management systems and social media platforms
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of proven success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies
